This is a Sales Specialist role, reporting to Cluster Head in Business Area Electrification (EL) located in Kolkata and will be responsible for selling products in North Eastern States market in accordance with ABB business strategy, building long term customer relationships and managing resolution to specific customer needs and issues and identifying sales opportunities.
- Selling products to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business /Product Groups.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports collection and project management activities when needed.
- Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the product management team.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
- Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
- Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering and align to provide a solution.
- Preparing sales plans using company tools, performing regular status reviews and proposes recovery plans in cases of potential order shortfalls.
- Ensuring appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and value proposition to customers.

Qualification & Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in switchgear sales.
