IKEA India Jobs – Core Area Leader Kitchen


Job Responsibilities:

  • Secure the country and store commercial priorities in Core Area in order to drive the sales growth and profitability;
  • Secure Retail foundation by working with the Core area team to ensure that store is in shape as new with fully stocked sales spaces at all times throughout the day;
  • Identify and develop the many talents in the Core Area within the team to secure competent and high-performing co-workers, and proper succession planning.
  • Lead the team in securing relevant and inspiring home furnishing solutions together with developing home furnishing competence in Core Area that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition;
  • Deliver a commercial action plan for the Core Area and secure alignment with store commercial action plan together with the store team and in line with the country;
  • Inspire and motivate managers and co-workers in the Core Area and engage them fully in the IKEA objectives;
  • Working with the commercial team to ensure that the range changes within each shop are planned and managed in a simple and commercial way and reflect local market needs and seasonal changes;

Qualification & Experience:

  • Good understanding of how to create a business in the IKEA multi-channel retail environment;
  • Knowledge of Sales steering and how to work with layout as a commercial tool;
  • Understand the local market and competition and what this means;
